Facebook Twitter Google+ We talk an awful lot about lorries and ‘standard’ HGV’s on this blog. But...
Welcome to HGV Driver Training Centre’s HGV Driving Jobs Page. A recent study in the UK found that there is currently a shortage of around 30,000 HGV Drivers; on top of that the Road Haulage Association (RHA) recently estimated that within the next 5 years there will be a shortage of around 48,000 vacancies within our industry. This means there has never been a better time to join this industry and become a fully qualified HGV Driver. The average wage in the UK driving a Cat C vehicle can be up to £24,000 per year; that’s up to £500 per week. However, for those lucky enough to drive a Cat C+E the average wage is up to £29,000 per year; a whopping £600 per week.
There are many other licences which also demand a higher wage, such as HIAB, ADR and Forklift. For more information on any of these specialist licences, please call our training team on 0808 168 5255 or click HERE.
